History of Sweet Bites Bakery & Café
In 2007, Caitlin Adler and
Christopher Vuich brought their fun and funky approach to café
dining to a suburban setting when they opened Sweet Bites Bakery
& Café in West Acton.
They offer unique soups,
sandwiches and decadent desserts created with the
highest-quality ingredients. Whether grabbing a muffin and
coffee to go or settling in with friends for lunch, customers
can be sure they are in for a mouth-watering experience. From
the food to the eye-catching artwork and pottery, Sweet Bites
offers a range of attractions.

Sweet Bites will come to you. We offer delivery to most
surrounding towns and also have a catering menu.
Located only 40 minutes from
Boston, in an area dotted with orchards and historical
landmarks, Sweet Bites is a special destination. Pay a visit for
Sunday brunch and spend the day exploring Concord, Walden Pond
and other nearby treasures.
Caitlin Adler has more than 10
years of baking experience and holds a degree in baking and
pastry from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.
She has worked in the pastry kitchens of the award-winning Four
Seasons hotels in Boston and Palm Beach. She polished her skills
at Ocean Edge Resort on Cape Cod, Purdy’s Homestead and
Lexington Square Café in Westchester, N.Y., and Tsunami
Restaurant in West Palm Beach.
Christopher Vuich headed
straight to the kitchen after graduating from Syracuse
University in 1991. He has worked primarily in the Boston area,
with stints in North Carolina, under renowned Swiss chef Beat
Zuttel at the Harvey Mansion, and in West Palm Beach, at Café
Boulud and Tsunami Restaurant. In 1997, Chris and a fraternity
brother opened Panificio Bakery on Beacon Hill in Boston and in
2006, as a co-owner, he opened Panificio Back Bay. He has also
worked as chef de cuisine under celebrity chef Todd English at
Figs in Chestnut Hill, Olives in Charlestown and Kingfish Hall
in Boston. And he worked as chef de cuisine at Andy Husbands’
Tremont 647 and Rouge restaurants in Boston’s South End and
Rustic Kitchen’s restaurants in Boston and Hingham.
